The new SALPOST shall graduate from its present loss making to one of being a profit centre progressively increasing market share and profitability by 10% each year to attain market leadership within four years. It shall achieve these by increasing its turnover against reducing cost, increasing its fixed assets, improved budgetary control, diversifying into new businesses (related and unrelated)and seeking mergers and acquisitions. It shall embark upon continuous improvement that is truly customer focused.
To achieve these, SALPOST shall depend on the commitment of its own staff, other stakeholders and its worldwide connectivity through whose individual and combined efforts we shall be able to manage the widest national and international postal delivery network.
On its corporate social responsibility, SALPOST shall embark on an environmental audit of its own activities, and become a lead player in contributing to public awareness.
