St. Edward's Secondary School

This website was set up serve as an auditorium where past and present scholars of our great institution can come together and exchange information about activities, ideas, and events. Established in 1821, St. Edward's Secondary School ranks among the five best schools in Sierra Leone, in terms of academic and sport achievements. As well as getting word out on our alumni organization, this site is host to a visitor's book to help create a better sense of community among edwardians. Also included, are pictures of our alma mata, school band, and other links.

The UK Association for Schools for the Blind in Sierra Leone

The UK Association was started in 2003, initially to support the Milton Margai School for the Blind in Sierra Leone’s capital, Freetown. Over time the concerns have broadened beyond the primary school to include support for former pupils in secondary and university education, and in vocational training. In 2010 the name of the Association was changed to reflect a wish to support other schools for the blind in Sierra Leone.

The Methodist Boys’ High School Global Network Initiative (GNI)

The Methodist Boys’ High School Global Network Initiative (GNI) comprises all constituent entities related to the governance, administration, management, and support of the Methodist Boys’ High School (MBHS) at Kissy Mess Mess, Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa. These entities include the school administration, the board of governors, all alumni associations across the world, Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Education Science and Technology, and the Sierra Leone Methodist Church Conference.

Old Bo Boys Association (OBBA)

Old Bo Boys Association (OBBA) is an organisation of ex-pupils of Bo School and it came into existence during the principalship of Mr Vincent F. De Lisle. The notion of forming OBBA was initially pioneered by an ex-pupil, Mr Amadu Wurie (Admission Number: 55) in 1927, when he sent a circular letter to all ex-pupils of Bo School requesting additional funds for the development of the school

We live in an ever evolving age of technology, and we are fortunate and proud of this site which through the hard work of the Web-Master, continue to improve yearly. Prince of Wales Alumni Association Global Portal

The Prince of Wales School was formally established in Freetown, Republic of Sierra Leone on April 6, 1925 with a purposeful insistence on fostering Science Education, and Studies in Modern Languages. The School, which was officially inaugurated by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, marked a turning point in Secondary Education in Sierra Leone, as its inception ushered the period in which the Sierra Leone Government actively sought to control wasteful multiplication, religious bigotry, and denominational rivalry in Secondary School.
